Electrical Operational Safety
3ECO is often involved at every stage of the Electrical Operational Safety life cycle for a particular project. From the setting up, management and operation of temporary power services on a construction site to supporting the testing and commissioning teams during the first permanent energisations. And even to eventually supporting Infrastructure Maintainers themselves for short or long term periods of assistance or throughout the life of the installation as part of its maintenance regime.
How we can help you
Our involvement usually consist of assessing the various project requirements and constraints and designing adequate and practical Safety Rules and operational procedures. Sometimes we simply comply with our client’s existing rules would these be found suitable following an in-depth review.
In addition 3ECO offers clients who so desire that we take full responsibility for the actual day-to-day operation of their relevant electrical network(s), either Low or High Voltage or both which involves in particular the management of a Permit to Work System that 3ECO is qualified to tailor exactly to the project and the client’s needs still to remain completely safe and practical.
Finally we can also assist with delivering standard or bespoke electrical training for our clients’ own staff. Something that is fully detailed in the training section of our website.
We have a significant experience in the field
We believe that we are strongly positioned to deliver such a complete Operational Safety package to our clients first of all because we were entrusted with this responsibility in the past and continue to this day to provide this operational safety service support on a large and complex railway that is the future Elizabeth Line where we carry out works successfully 24h a day. 7 days a week and 365 days a year for Rail for London Infrastructure. Second of all because we are able to rely on a core in-house team of very capable and highly skilled engineers and technicians that we have trained ourselves and for whom we maintain the necessary qualifications.
This allows us to rely on our own Authorising Engineers, Control Engineers, Senior Authorised Persons, Authorised Persons and Competent Persons on both Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) networks to carry out the works.
If you are interested in our Electrical Operational Safety capabilities as briefly mentioned above and if you want to better understand what experience we have on the matter and how we can help you please feel free to contact us.
