RFLI Training TUCA

The finish line is in sight

Back in 2019, 3ECO Ltd was awarded a training and assessment contract by Rail for London Infrastructure to develop and deliver a series of five courses to cover the whole range of operational electrical activities that would be required, in relation to the safe operation of the 11kV – 22kV Non-Traction High Voltage as well as the 25kV Traction Power networks.

In advance of the March 2021 deadline, in time for the entry of the Elizabeth Line into ROGS and the start of Trial Operations, 3ECO Ltd would have completed its mission to train and assess the relevant operational safety personnel to support its client, Rail for London Infrastructure.

Morson-3ECO Service Provider

3ECO Ltd, in close cooperation with Morson, will very soon be starting another equally important mission. And that is to carry out, on behalf of RFLI, all the relevant HV electrical isolations as well as HV maintenance activities for the Elizabeth Line in the foreseeable future. A very important role and duty in “keeping London moving”. Following months of fruitful cooperation and collaboration between our teams, we are grateful that RFLI had the faith to entrust 3ECO Ltd with this privilege and responsibility.

In addition, 3ECO Ltd will use its extensive knowledge of both the HV networks and the switchgears that were installed as part of the Crossrail project to offer close mentoring of RFLI members of staff when out in the field so that they can gain the right level of confidence to operate the HV network on their own and as soon as possible.

Marking the end of 3ECO training period

As 3ECO Ltd training comes to a close, in order to draw a line in the sand and reflect on the long months of collaborative work that permitted the development and delivery of this highly strategic OLE & Distribution Isolation training package for the Elizabeth Line, 3ECO Ltd has put together a short video as shown below, reflecting on the works that were carried out by all involved, supplier and client alike, that we hope you will find both instructive and insightful.
